Located along Prefectural Road Ebetsu-Naie Line, this roadside rest area utilizes the existing spa facility of Onsen Tappu-no-Yu.
It is nicely located because the road in front of the rest area is functioned as the roadway linking between Iwamizawa and Ebetsu/Sapporo.
With the area around the facility having Shinotsu Park and Lake Shinotsu, the area is very convenient for playing with facilities such as golfing, park-golfing, camping in summer and fishing smelt in winter.
With a feature as an agricultural community, locally grown vegetables and specialty products are provided in the rest area.
