Gurutto panorama Bihorotoge Okhotsk Area

The roadside rest area is located on the Bihoro Pass which situated along the National Highway 243 which connects the eastern Hokkaido’s major cities Kushiro and Kitami, running thought the Akan National Park.
Altitude around the rest area is about 525 meters, and nothing can surpass the beauty of view from the top.
In July 1st, 2002, the “Bihoro Pass Rest House” was reopened with the basic concept of “Providing touching scene, comfortable setting and fresh information while creating “Modern Teahouse” on the pass where fresh air is blowing in.”
This “Bihoro Pass Rest House” is one providing information and comfortable use with information function such as video and exhibitions, cafeteria function, and further sufficient rest space.
