Located along National Highway 5, the roadside rest area “You You Mori” is the great view point overlooking Komagatake, and Mt. Yotei and Funka Bay from the rooftop observatory lounge.
Also, in the surrounding area, there are urban parks such as Oniushi Park and Aobagaoka Park, and these are crowded with families with a lunch box under cherry trees in spring and on the grass in summer.
The store in the first floor sells special products such as Ikameshi (boiled squid stuffed with steamed rice) and buckwheat tea, and these has attracted drivers.
